William Bumgardner William “Joe” Bumgardner Jr., 85, of Henry died at 10:53 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, “Downtown Chapel” 416 Edward St., Henry with Pastor Ken Colwell officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial was in Henry Cemetery, Henry with full military rites accorded by the Henry American Legion. Memorials: Henry American Legion. Mr. Bumgardner was born January 30, 1926 in Ramsey, the son of William and Cora (Shives) Bumgardner, Sr. He married Mary Elgin on July 26, 1954 at Henry. He was a member of the Henry American Legion and laborer with the construction Local 996 of Roanoke. He served his country in the United States Army Air Force as a gunner in WWII. He is survived by his wife; sister, Athelleen Cox of Decatur. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Caresse Crotty Caresse Crotty, 31, of Dayton, Ohio died Sunday, January 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Beavercreek, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Caresse was born in 1980, the daughter of Paul Stephens and Clarisse (Humphries) Stephens of Ashmore. She is survived by two daughters and one son. Her grandparents are Bill and Wanda Stephens of Ramsey.
Robert Mizeur Robert “Bob” Mizeur, 97, of Pana died Monday, January 23, 2012 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Pana. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana with Father Tom Mizeur officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at Kennedy Funeral Home, Pana. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by the United States Navy Military Honors Unit. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, Pana. Mr. Mizeur was born December 5, 1914 in Assumption Township, son of Simon Peter and Julia Christine (Michael) Mizeur. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; owner/operator of Mizeur Electric; life long member of St. Patrick’s Church. He married Clara Berns on February 13, 1954. He is survived by daughter, Julie Merrall and husband Joe of Woodstock, GA; son, Dan Mizeur and wife Tonya of O’Fallon; four grandsons. |
